Eaglesham School Community Engagement

On March 14, 2023, Peace Wapiti Public School Division's senior administration hosted a community engagement session to better understand the community's perspective on educational programming for Eaglesham students. We'd like to thank everyone who attended the event and are grateful for the feedback we received.

After consultation with the community of Eaglesham and school administration, it was decided that Eaglesham School will continue to provide K-12 programming.

Feedback received during the community engagement session has been compiled and can be viewed here.

SCHOOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Earlier this year we sought interested individuals to join the Eaglesham School Advisory Committee to provide feedback to the school community regarding possible changes to the student experience.

The School Advisory Committee's goals are to:
  • Review engagement feedback, assist in the creation of action items, and investigate possible solutions
  • Provide insights and engage with school staff, student leaders, and community members to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Act as liaisons for the school community
  • Provide input and support relating to school programs, and explore success stories at other schools within Alberta with similar demographics
